Frequently Asked Questions
Need help or want to know more about how Question Wheel computes fair decisions? Browse our knowledge base below.
What is a question wheel?
A question wheel is an interactive decision-making tool where you enter a question and a list of candidate answers. Spinning the wheel triggers a randomized animation that selects a single winner randomly.
How does the random wheel choose an answer?
The wheel applies an unbiased random seed to calculate a rotational angle. The wheel then performs multiple complete spins and decelerates naturally, stopping precisely on the chosen slice under the pointer.
How many options can I add?
You can enter from 2 up to 30 options. The wheel automatically adjusts segment width and font size so all your options remain legible and easy to read.
Is the Question Wheel free?
Yes, Question Wheel is 100% free with no registration, no subscription, and no download required. You can spin as many times as you like.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes! The entire interface is mobile-first, responsive, and touch-optimized. You can tap the center hub or the spin button on any smartphone or tablet.
Can I use the wheel for classroom activities?
Yes. Many teachers display the Question Wheel on interactive whiteboards or smart TVs to call on students randomly, assign group projects, or play classroom trivia.
Can I use it for games?
Yes, it works wonderfully for board games, truth-or-dare, party challenges, tabletop RPG initiatives, and deciding who goes first.
Can I spin the wheel multiple times?
Yes. There is no limit on spins. You can click "Spin Again" immediately, or click "Remove Winner" to eliminate the chosen answer and spin from the remaining options.
